Pinarello Experience Weekend: the New Dogma F and the Essence of Italian Style

In July, we had the pleasure of attending an unforgettable Pinarello Experience Weekend in Treviso, Italy – a trip that was not only a presentation of the new Dogma F, but also a celebration of the Italian lifestyle, “la dolce vita,” with full Italian flair. Our excitement reached a fever pitch from the moment we received the invitation, and every moment of the trip confirmed that Pinarello is more than a bike.

Day 1: Venetian Climate and Italian Flair

On July 10 we landed in Venice, where we immediately felt we were in the heart of Italy – the warmth, aromas, expressive gestures and distinctive style of the place surrounded us from the first moment. After arriving at the hotel, it was time for a Venetian dinner, in one of the romantic, hidden streets of the city. The whole evening consisted of conversations over a glass of wine, and the atmosphere of Venice made a great impression on us – aside from the powerful heat that accompanied us all the time. The next day we took the train to Treviso, ready for the “Welcome Party” and our first impressions of the new Dogma F.

An exhibition of legendary Pinarello bikes awaited us at the venue, and among them – the gem of the evening: Dogma F 2025 in Luxter Blue, with accessories Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 and Princeton Carbonworks Grit 4540 wheels. Next to it, a full range of paint jobs on various configurations: from SRAM Red to Campagnolo Super Record EPS.

We moved on to the reception – prosecco, food trucks with snacks, where, over a glass of wine, we could exchange first impressions with dealers from the US, Austria, Japan, Germany and other parts of the world. Everyone had something different to tell, a different story. But we all had one thing in common: a shared passion for Pinarello, made us feel like part of a big bicycle family.

Day 2: Dogma F Presentation and First Tests

The next day, after breakfast, we set off to meet Pinarello engineers, who told us the secrets of the new Dogma. The use of Toray MX40 fibers, improved aerodynamic position and lighter handlebars were just some of the new features. After the presentation we had a moment for espresso and lunch, and then it was time to pick up the test bikes. Position settings, parameter adjustments, and then – the first ride in the heat that was pouring from the sky.

The bike handled perfectly, surprising us with its lightness and stability. Sitting on the Dogma F, we immediately felt the difference: the position was more aerodynamic, and the handling was smooth and stable, as seen in the excellent drag coefficient (Cr) results. The Dura-Ace C50 with GP5000 tires made the ride not only fast, but also comfortable.

Day 3: Route through the Prosecco Hills – 100 km and Italian Climate

In the morning, with a full Pinarello outfit prepared for us and waiting for us in the room when we returned from dinner, we set off on a route through the Prosecco hills. The climbs proved challenging, but the Dogma F is a machine made for challenges – it feels like every climb is a new discovery of the bike’s capabilities.

The first stop at the summit, not only cold drinks, but also a moment of respite to chat with other participants add to the atmosphere – especially a fellow Japanese, who has been running a bicycle store in Yokohama for four generations (more than 100 years of tradition!), impressed me greatly. On the descents, with speeds exceeding 80 km/h, the bike remained stable and we were able to fully enjoy the ride, escorted by the Team Ineos team car and the police.

Day 4: Last evening in the Pinarello atmosphere

We arrive at a beautiful place surrounded by nature – a charming castle ruin with a beautiful view of the Valdobbiadene hills. A buffet has been set up on the green lawn. On the tables the best delicacies: tuna tataki, raw salmon with herbs, Italian cheeses, cottage cheese with caviar, a leg of prosciutto from which slices of Parma ham are cut. This is the perfect essence of Pinarello – full of class, Italian style and deep-rooted tradition.

This is a remarkable combination of a sports legend with the latest masterpiece of technology and design from Pinarello – a perfect harmony of style, precision and performance.

This meeting was no ordinary dinner, but an inspiring experience – conversations with Fausto Pinarello and Jan Ullrich, who invite us to take a moment to get to know us better. An evening full of passion, love for cycling and interesting stories from around the world.

Pinarello: Italian Lifestyle on Two Wheels

To sum up this trip, we come back to one simple thought: Pinarello isn’t just a bike – it’s a brand that carries elegance, lifestyle and an authentic Italian vibe. Every detail, from the design to the comfort of the rider, creates a whole that ensures that when you buy a Pinarello, you get more than just hardware. It’s “la dolce vita” in its purest form, the taste of espresso after a workout, and even a unique pinch of elegance that makes every ride an experience.

We hope that this post took you at least for a moment to Italy and made you feel the spirit of Pinarello. It’s been love from the first pedaling for us – may you feel the same one day too! Check out the available Pinarello Dogma F models in our store.

Charles Heidsieck and Pinarello: Class, Tradition and Perfection
Champagne Charles Heidsieck and the Pinarello bicycle brand have more in common than it might seem at first glance. Both brands are synonymous with luxury, precision and timeless elegance, but it is also their history and attention to detail that make them iconic in their respective fields. At the event in Treviso, we had the opportunity to sip this unique champagne and discuss a bit about both brands.

Charles Heidsieck, known as the “Gentleman Champagne,” has represented the best of French Champagne traditions since 1851. His Brut Réserve impresses with its rich structure, subtle balance and notes of baked bread and dried fruits – it’s a Champagne that, like a good bicycle, reveals its secrets and uniqueness with each successive “sip” of the experience.

Like Charles Heidsieck, Pinarello has been honing its craft for decades, creating bikes that not only win at the world’s most important races, but also inspire with their design and innovation. The Dogma F, like the Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve, is the result of the work of passionate people who do not compromise – both in technology and aesthetics.

Also common to both brands is the French-Italian spirit of elegance: refined details, a passion for perfection and the ability to deliver an unforgettable experience. Both the Charles Heidsieck bottle and the Pinarello frame are more than just a product – they are an experience, a story and a symbol of quality.
