I can’t imagine Italy without this color. After all, red is Ferrari, red is Lamborghini… and as soon as I think of Pinarello, this color immediately pops into my head – vivid, expressive, fast. Red is simply the fastest color in the world! 🤪

Where did the red go?

At last year’s unveiling of the new Pinarello Dogma F, I was almost certain that we would see a bold new red color version. My previous bike – Dogma F Sonic Red – was one of the most beautiful bikes in my collection. And here’s a surprise: no red!
How is this possible?
Fortunately, the love of fans of red won out. The voice of customers reached Pinarello and… it happened! On February 14, 2025, the holiday of lovers, the brand introduced a color you can really fall in love with: STARRY RED ♥️. And I’ll admit – I fell in love at first sight.

Time for a new configuration

I slowly began to arrange in my head how to configure my new bike – Pinarello Dogma F STARRY RED. The choice fell on the reliable Shimano Dura-Ace R9200 group, but as it is with me – it was not without tuning.

When you put together your dream bike, every detail counts. Not just the look, but most importantly the function, performance and that “something” that makes you can’t stop looking at it – and riding it.

Let’s start with the heart of the drive

I opted for Shimano Dura Ace Di2 with Carbon-Ti – Italian precision, lightness and style. Aero brake discs are not only excellent braking performance, but also exceptional aesthetics. Lightweight and beautiful. And when you add a titanium direct mount derailleur hook and CeramicSpeed travel in the rear derailleur – you get a set that not only reduces rolling resistance, but also increases stiffness and improves shifting precision.

Wheels? Only Partington.

Here there were no compromises. Partington MKII 39//44 are the wheels I have been dreaming of for a long time. Stiffness, responsiveness, perfect aerodynamics – and that look! You’ll read more about them in a separate post, but if you’re looking for something absolutely top-of-the-line, you’re in the right place.

Refined details build the whole.
To the modern silhouette of the bike I added a touch of the classics – Continental Grand Prix 5000 AS tires with beige sidewall. Comfort, grip and great looks. The size? 28 mm – the perfect balance.

The cockpit? Ultra Fast – 36 cm wide and 110 mm long.
Minimalism and aerodynamics in one. Plus the saddle – the iconic Selle Italia SLR Boost 3D, which you loved as much as I did. Wrapped with a Nabico wrap, which perfectly matches its texture and provides a firm grip.
