Weighing just 685 g (in the unpainted version), the frame makes the V5Rs the lightest model ever to roll off the Colnago production line. That’s a 12.5% reduction in weight compared to its predecessor —without the slightest compromise in stiffness.

Next-generation aerodynamics

The experience gained during the design of the Y1Rs model has enabled us to create even more refined tube profiles. The sleeker shapes and reduced frontal area—now down to 250 cm² (−13%) —significantly reduce air resistance.
