Factor ONE was born from a single, fundamental question: how far can we push the limits of speed on a UCI-approved road bike?

The answer first became clear in the numbers. Independent laboratory tests unequivocally demonstrated that the ONE is the fastest road bike in the world. This was followed by verification under real-world conditions—a stage victory at the Critérium du Dauphiné, achieved during the prototype’s debut, confirmed these results on the road.

Design without compromise

Factor ONE represents a completely new approach to the design of a modern road bike. Modern cycling has undergone a significant transformation: riders adopt more forward-leaning positions, use narrower handlebars, shorter cranks, wider tires, and take on a more aerodynamic profile than ever before. The ONE was designed from the ground up with these realities in mind—not adapted to them at a later stage.

Next-generation aerodynamics

At the heart of the ONE concept is a fork with a bayonet-like cross-section and a distinctive “chin fairing” aerodynamic structure . This solution, made possible by the latest changes to UCI regulations, was refined through hundreds of CFD iterations. This design effectively controls the air turbulence generated where the front tire meets the fork crown, significantly reducing aerodynamic drag.

Geometry tailored for modern racing

Factor’s engineers started from the premise that today’s riders regularly adopt positions that were considered extreme just a short time ago. By separating the handlebar mount from the head tube axis, the ONE allows for a longer cockpit without the need for excessively long, less stable stems. The modified bottom bracket drop compensates for the effects of shorter cranks and modern tire widths, ensuring handling stability even at very high speeds.

Confirmed by independent aerodynamic tests

ONE's superiority has been demonstrated in independent tunnel tests conducted at the Guelph and SASI facilities:

• more than 8% faster than OSTRO VAM 2.0

• about 15% faster than the Cervélo S5 (2024)

• more than 22% faster than the Specialized Tarmac SL8

• maintains a clear aerodynamic advantage at yaw angles (YAW) above 15°, where other designs lose efficiency

In addition, ONE claimed a stage victory in his very first WorldTour race— the Critérium du Dauphiné.

All of this data clearly confirms that the ONE is the fastest, fully UCI-compliant road bike Factor has ever built—and the fastest verified design in its class to date.

An integrated cockpit with no compromises

The new integrated cockpit system completely eliminates the traditional stem. Instead, it offers five lengths (corresponding to a range of 110–150 mm), two handlebar rise options— 0 mm or 20 mm —and the ability to adjust the height using spacers up to 15 mm. Together, this provides a 35 mm stack range without negatively affecting aerodynamics or handling precision.

How do I choose the right size?

The Factor ONE was designed in line with the latest trends in cycling positioning, offering exceptionally wide adjustment options—especially for riders who prefer an aggressive, forward-leaning riding position.

The configuration selection process is simple and intuitive, especially for users of the Ostro VAM NEW model:

• Select the same frame size

• Replace the Ostro VAM NEW Zero Setback seatpost with the ONE Setback seatpost

• Select a cockpit length that matches the handlebar used on the Ostro

• The stack height corresponds to Ostro 2.0 with a 5 mm spacer

• The reach is 20 mm longer—this value has been included in the cockpit selection chart

• Note: The Zero Offset seatpost extends the riding position a full 30 mm further forward compared to the SB version—recommended only for experienced riders

For non-standard setups or situations requiring very precise adjustments, we recommend a professional bike fitting using tools such as BikeCAD.

Steering wheel

Two handlebar versions are available: Low Rise and High Rise. The High version, when combined with a 20 mm spacer (dust cover), allows you to replicate the hand position found on the current Ostro model. Both versions allow for the use of spacers up to 15 mm thick.

The High handlebar is available in sizes 1–3, while the Low handlebar is available in the full range of sizes 1–5. In terms of other fitting parameters, the ONE cockpit corresponds to the AB02 model, known from the OSTRO VAM.

Colors and availability

The Factor ONE is available in five frame sizes: 47, 52, 54, 56, and 58, and in four color options: Blush, Nimbus Grey, Onyx Black, and Silverstone.
