SRAM RED AXS is a top-of-the-line 2×12 electronic road groupset, designed according to the philosophy of “evolution rather than revolution.” The latest generation has been refined in every aspect, offering improved ergonomics, faster and more precise shifting, and a wider gear range. At the same time, SRAM has reduced the weight of nearly all components, making RED AXS one of the lightest electronic road drivetrains on the market. Settings and customization are managed via the SRAM AXS app.

AXS HRD Shift-Brake System
The AXS HRD shift-and-brake system represents the biggest technological leap among the new RED components. The redesigned shift levers and carbon brake levers offer significantly improved ergonomics for a wide range of hand sizes and noticeably more effective braking force transmission from any position on the handlebars. A modified pivot point and the relocation of the main piston to the shifter body enable effective one-finger braking from both the lower grip and the bar ends. An additional button integrated into the shifter can be used for shifting or to operate compatible ANT+ devices. The eTap shifting logic remains intuitive and fully customizable in the app. Shifter width and contact point can be adjusted, and the system supports additional Wireless Blips buttons. The new brake calipers are stiffer and significantly lighter, offer more clearance for pads, and are easier to service thanks to Bleeding Edge technology. Compared to the previous generation, the system’s weight has been reduced by 83 grams.

Rear Derailleur The SRAM RED AXS rear derailleur has been further lightened by 16 grams and delivers even greater chain efficiency. Larger derailleur pulleys with ceramic bearings and the X-Sync tooth profile reduce resistance and improve drivetrain smoothness. The Orbit Fluid vibration damping system stabilizes the chain even when riding on rough terrain. Configuration and diagnostics are performed wirelessly via the SRAM AXS app. The integrated ANT+ transmitter allows you to display the current gear and battery level on your bike computer.

Front Derailleur The SRAM RED AXS front derailleur ensures fast and precise shifting in all conditions. It is designed to work with the full range of SRAM X-Range 2x cranksets—from 46-33 to 56-43. Yaw technology and the Auto Trim feature eliminate chain rub in every gear combination. Thanks to integration with the AXS system, full customization of the derailleur’s performance is possible, and the new mounting system facilitates quick and precise adjustment.

Power Meter Crank The SRAM RED DUB AXS power meter crank is one of the lightest and most advanced training solutions on the market. Thanks to the optimized design of the carbon arms, the weight has been reduced by another 29 grams. X-Range gear ratios with a 13-tooth difference between chainrings ensure smooth shifting without the need for cassette adjustments. The one-piece chainring construction increases stiffness and durability, while a special tooth coating extends their lifespan. The DUB Road standard crank axle ensures broad compatibility with bottom brackets.

Chain The SRAM RED Flattop chain has been made lighter through the use of hollow pins and cutouts in the plates. It maintains exceptional durability and operates quietly and smoothly thanks to the chrome-plated finish on its internal surfaces.

Cassette SRAM RED AXS cassettes combine a wide gear range with small step sizes between gears. The X-Dome design involves milling the sprocket block from a single piece of steel, ensuring low weight and high durability. Only the largest chainring is made of aluminum. Special shift ramps have been optimized for AXS electronic shifters. Available ranges: 10-28, 10-30, 10-33, 10-36.

Paceline X
Brake Rotors The Paceline X 160 mm brake rotors combine quiet and stable performance with an ultra-lightweight aluminum spider. The design, optimized for road cycling, meets UCI standards, and the rounded edges enhance safety and facilitate wheel installation.

Batteries The rear and front derailleur batteries provide a range of over 1,000 km. The charge level is indicated by LEDs. Both batteries are identical and can be swapped between components. A full charge takes about one hour.
