SRAM RED AXS 2×12 Road Bike Groupset

SRAM RED AXS is a top-of-the-line 2×12 electronic road groupset, designed according to the philosophy of “evolution over revolution.” The latest generation has been refined in every aspect, offering improved ergonomics, faster and more precise shifting, and a wider gear range. At the same time, SRAM has reduced the weight of nearly all components, making RED AXS one of the lightest electronic road drivetrains on the market. Settings and customization are conveniently managed through the SRAM AXS app.

AXS HRD Shift-Brake System
The AXS HRD shifting and braking system represents the biggest technological leap among the new RED components. Redesigned shift levers and carbon brake levers provide improved ergonomics for a wide range of hand sizes and significantly more effective braking force transfer from any position on the handlebars. A modified pivot point and the relocation of the main piston to the shifter body enable effective one-finger braking from both the lower grip and the bar ends. An additional button on the shifter can be used for shifting or to control compatible ANT+ devices. The main shift levers operate according to proven eTap logic: one switch shifts up, the other down; pressing both switches simultaneously shifts the front derailleur. The shifting logic can be customized via the SRAM AXS app. The width of the shifters and their contact point with the handlebars can be easily adjusted. The new brake calipers are stiffer, lighter, and easier to install and service thanks to Bleeding Edge technology. Compared to the previous generation, the system’s weight has been reduced by 83 grams.

Rear Derailleur The new SRAM RED AXS rear derailleur is even lighter and more efficient. Compared to the previous generation, its weight has been reduced by 16 grams. Larger derailleur pulleys with ceramic bearings and the X-Sync tooth profile improve chain smoothness. Orbit Fluid vibration damping stabilizes the chain even during dynamic riding. Configuration and diagnostics are performed wirelessly via the SRAM AXS app. The integrated ANT+ transmitter allows the bike computer to display battery status and current gear ratio.

Front Derailleur The SRAM RED AXS front derailleur delivers fast and precise shifting in all conditions. It is compatible with the full range of SRAM X-Range 2x cranksets—from 46-33 to 56-43 teeth. Yaw technology with Auto Trim eliminates chain rub in every gear combination. Integration with the AXS system allows you to customize the derailleur’s performance via the app. The new mounting system makes it easier to precisely adjust the derailleur.

Crankset The SRAM RED DUB crankset is one of the lightest and most advanced components in the groupset. Thanks to the optimized design of the carbon arms, the weight has been reduced by another 29 grams. The proven X-Range gear ratios, with a 13-tooth difference between the chainrings, ensure smooth shifting without the need to adjust the rear derailleur. The one-piece chainring design increases stiffness and durability. The chainring teeth feature a special coating for long-lasting durability. The DUB Road standard crank axle ensures broad compatibility with bottom brackets. The crank can be easily equipped with a power measurement system using the SRAM AXS Powermeter kit available in our store.

Chain The SRAM RED Flattop chain has been made lighter through the use of hollow pins and cutouts in the plates. It maintains high durability and smooth operation thanks to the chrome-plated coating on its internal surfaces.

Cassette SRAM RED cassettes combine a wide gear range with small steps between gears. Thanks to their X-Dome design and single-block steel milling, they are among the lightest cassettes on the market. Only the largest sprocket is made of aluminum. The shift ramps have been optimized for AXS electronic shifters. Available versions: 10-28, 10-30, 10-33, 10-36.

Paceline X 160 mm Brake Discs
The Paceline X 160 mm brake discs combine quiet and stable performance with an ultra-light aluminum spider. The road-optimized design meets UCI standards, and the rounded edges improve safety and make wheel installation easier.

Batteries The rear and front derailleur batteries provide a range of over 1,000 km. LED indicators show the charge level. The batteries are identical and can be swapped between components. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour.
